Overview by Robert Cezar:
I must admit that I am extremely biased in favour of flying the Boeing 727. During the early part of my 40-year corporate life,
I practically lived on this wonderful aircraft. I flew over 1/2 million miles, to over 35 countries in the world, and
whenever, and wherever I had a choice, I'd choose to fly the Awesome Boeing 727! Hence, it probably comes
as no surprise that I would elect to interface the It's Your Plane (IYP) system to this remarkable aircraft.
Installation:
The installation process has been broken down into two areas:
- The Aircraft
- The Liveries
The Aircraft:
This is pretty straightforward. Simply download
THIS ZIP FILE (13.8M)
and UNZIP it into your FS9 ROOT folder. (e.g., the normal installation path would look like...)
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\
This action will install the following folders under your ROOT simulator folder:
Aircraft\b272_200
Aircraft\b272_200\Model
Aircraft\b272_200\Panel
Aircraft\b272_200\Sound
Aircraft\b272_200\Texture
Aircraft\fsfsconv\
Aircraft\fsfsconv\panel_727
Aircraft\fsfsconv\sound_727
At this point, you should have a fully operational Eastern Airlines Boeing 727-200 that you can select
from the Boeing section of your simulator's "Select Aircraft" panel.
The Liveries:
If you'd like, you can add additional aircraft. By installing this
LIVERIES ZIP (12.8M) :
file, you'll end up with:
American Airlines
British Airways
Eastern Airlines
PSA
Trans World Airlines
After downloading, once again UNZIP it into your FS9 ROOT folder.
(e.g., the normal installation path would look like...)
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\
