The (Raytheon) Beechcraft 1900D

Preface:
This FS9 (2004) FREEWARE Beech 1900D was modelled by Mike Stone and repainted in Pacific Airways colours by Steve Carlson.   We have done everything within our power to give credit, where credit is due.

Overview:
While the 1900C had become a popular regional airliner, Beechcraft undertook a substantial redesign of the aircraft, and in 1991 introduced a new version called the 1900D. The 1900 and 1900C, like most 19-passenger airliners and business jets, have fairly small passenger cabins, with ceilings so low that passengers cannot walk through the interior without bending forward. The 1900D was designed to remedy this by providing a "stand-up cabin," which would allow most passengers to walk upright. It is the only 19-seat airliner with this feature.

Installation:
The Model comes as a self Installing file. Simply double click the installer, carefully read the information provided on screen, and the aircraft will install. Please make sure you check the install Directory is correct. It automatically selects an install directory (it should be your MAIN FS2002/FS2004 folder). If you make a mistake, just use the uninstaller and try again.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
In order to fly this aircraft with It's Your Plane, you need to edit the aircraft.cfg file. In the aircraft folder of FS9, look for the folder entitled:

    Pacific Airways Beech 1900D

In that folder, open the aircraft.cfg file with Notepad, and replace these values:

    ui_type=Beech 1900D Pacific Airways
    ui_manufacturer=Pacific Blue

with these values:

    ui_type=Beech 1900D
    ui_manufacturer=Beechcraft

When you first run IYP, Michelle will likely tell you that the aircraft does not have a Tail (Registration) Number. Select the aircraft and create a Tail Number of your choice.
