One of our more senior pilots (#10290) who really enjoys flying commercial aircraft like the Boeing 737-800,
proffered the wonderful idea that we implement a JPG image that would display the current status of IT'S YOUR PLANE pilots.
What’s it used for?
A typical use would be to use this image as part of your signature set up in a Forum.
Perhaps you have your own Website and you want to inform your visitors as to your status on IT'S YOUR PLANE.
How Do I Use It’s Your Ping?
Actually, it's remarkably easy. Let's say you are Pilot# 10000. You would reference your IYPING image like this:

What does it display if I’m not currently flying with IYP?
If you are not currently flying with Michelle or Mike and a person visits your Website or a
forum where you have the IYPING image included in your signature set up, then people will see this:
What flight information is displayed if I’m flying with Michelle?
If you are currently flying on IT'S YOUR PLANE and a person visits your Website or a forum
where you have the IYPING image included in your signature set up, then people will see something like this:
- Pilot Number
- Pilot Screen Name
- Flight Status
- Current Latitude
- Current Longitude
- Origination ICAO
- Destination ICAO
- Type of Aircraft
- Planned Flight Level
- Current Altitude
- Indicated Air Speed
- Current Heading
How come Pilot #10000 has a Screen Name as well?
This is also very easy to accomplish. Simply click on the Login button on the IT'S YOUR PLANE Website,
enter your e-mail and password, click on the My Profile link and enter your Screen Name.
If you have forgotten your password, then simply enter your e-mail address WITHOUT a password
and your password will be sent to you.
