- This version contains the BETA FS9, PMDG Boeing 737-600/700

- Fixed a problem when executing the Tour message in the Before Startup checklist procedure.
- Fixed a problem where the Co-Pilot would say, "Locked on the Localizer", where there wasn't one!
|
- In previous versions, the Captain was required to say to the F/O (Michelle/Mike), "Load the ILS Approach Frequency for Runway XX" in
order to tell the F/O which runway to look for. After this command, the F/O would say, "Set the Course to XXX." This procedure still
works as previously implemented. However, if the Captain sets the NAV1 frequency to that of an ILS Approach, but did NOT execute
the aforememntioned procedure, but simply said, "Let's do the Approach Checklist", the F/O had no idea what to look for. As a result,
the F/O would NOT turn on the APP when the Localizer was detected. This has been addressed in this revision.
That is to say, when the Captain asks the F/O to execute the Approach and Landing checklists, the F/O looks to see if the NAV1
frequency is in range, and IF the current bearing suggests an ILS approach, will turn on the APP switch when the Localizer is captured.
- Significant improvements to the Glideslope detection were also made in the revision.

- Added a number of new voice commands in preparation for NEW aircraft soon to come online!

- Michelle was previously designed to automatically execute certain key commands in the ATC window to preselect modes. However,
this feature adversely affected those who run in the Push-To-Talk Mode by bringing up the ATC window when not desired.
Hence, these aitomatic features have been removed.

- There was a problem when making an approach and landing to a NON-ILS runway, where Michelle would pick up an ILS Approach Frequency from an adjacant Runway, and say, "Locked on the Localizer", and/or, "The Glideslope's Alive". This nasty problem has been fixed. Opsss!!!
- Michelle automatically looks left rear, left, left front and front upon the query, "Are we clear on the left?"
- Include the voice command... "Goodbye Michelle (or Mike) and thank you", to close the IYP programme.

- Duplicate phrases in the Cockpit Voice Recorder on "Make the heading ???", has been fixed.
- The last character in the Cockpit Voice Recorder was being truncated. This has been fixed.

- Substantive improvements made to the ACARS and PIREP reporting systems.

- Add the voice commands:
- "Get the distance to the next waypoint."
- "Get the flying time to the next waypoint."
- "Get the flying time to the destination."
- "Get the distance to the destination."
- "Get the current ground speed."
to supplement and parse the "Get the flight data" command.

- Some users were experiencing errors when attempting to set the Flaps to 40 degrees because the IYP system erroreously
interpretted the value 14. This has been resolved.

The Flight Following feature has the First Officer making flight following announcements to the passengers
in jetliners, or the pilot in GA aicraft, and includes the nearest METAR weather information, if available.

- PROBLEM: With ACARS running, when user resets time to ZULU a system error occured.
RESOLVED: The ACARS is temporarily STOPPED, Michelle reports, 'ACARS logging has been stopped',
the aircraft reloads the flight with the new flight time, and the ACARS restarts.

- The Beacon/Recognition Lights were inadvertently being turned off during the Taxi to the Gate Checklist. This has been fixed.
