The NEW It's Your Plane Support and Communications Centre!
Thank You Just about everyone has now downloaded and installed the NEW IYP Version 3 software. From the many e-mails I have received, the new edition is being hailed as a great improvement over previous versions. Naturally, this affords me great satisfaction. I would like to take this opportunity to say "Thank you" to the many users (too many to enumerate) who have taken the time to write to me to express their delight and satisfaction. It is these kinds of e-mails that are the driving-force behind the continued IYP development. New Support System As many of you have discovered, we are now selling IYP and IYP Upgrades directly on our site with our own proprietary and secure software, and with the assistance of the robust PayPal facilities. As a result, by logging into the IYP User Login section of our new Website, you can review your prior purchases and get up-to-the-minute news about IYP, plus pre-releases about new features that are coming online shortly. There's also a Help Desk system where you can communicate privately with me about any topic you wish to pursue. So, if you have not already done so, please go to: http://www.ItsYourPlane.com and click on the User Login link in the top-right corner. If you are an existing customer, simply: Enter your E-Mail Address - WITHOUT A PASSWORD Your TEMPORARY PASSWORD will be e-mailed to you directly. After you login, you will be asked to replace your temporary password with one of your choosing. Please keep it secret and in a safe place. You will also be asked to update your profile. While it is true that we have this information from the original vendors from whom you purchased your IYP programme, I'm basically lazy, and I REALLY don't feel like typing in hundreds of addresses (lol). This information will be required in order for you to purchase any future upgrades and/or add-ons, so you might just as well get it over with! Pilot Numbers and Online Filed Flight Plans Each user has a unique 5-digit Pilot Number. You can find this number under the "My Profile" link after you Login. You will see an area that looks this this: Keep in mind that this only reports ONLINE FILED FLIGHT PLANS. Users who fly OFFLINE and those who do not file a complete flight plan, are not logged. You may observe two things: I am Pilot Number 10000 (lol) Where is all of this going? Hmmmm...... (more later...) Summary Please take a few minutes to LOGIN and enter your profile information. This will save me a lot of time and effort. And, in that way, I can keep developing new features for you, rather than becoming an IT Manager!!! Thanks in advance.
