Real and Flight Times
This is a short VFR flight from Bowerman Airport (KHQM) in Hoquiam, WA, to Astoria Regional Airport (KAST), in Astoria, Oregon. I did this flight on Mar 2, 2008 at about 3:30 in the afternoon, although the simulator's date and time was Mar 11, 2007 at 33 minutes past midnight, UTC.

Flying in the Spot View
To make things a tad more challenging, I decided to execute this entire flight from the Spot View. Believe it or not, I never once viewed cockpit... I figured I'd let Michelle (my trusty co-pilot) worry about the details! I pretended I was Superman flying along side Michelle!

The specific purpose of this flight and the attached information, was to demonstrate how Michelle handles a BackCourse Approach. Hence, I selected Runway 8 in Astoria.
