- Who's flying on IYP right now?
The IYP Flight Tracker cantains a facility callled IYP Central, where both IYP users and
non-IYP users can send an Instant Message to pilots in flight, requesting that the
pilot connect to IYP Central to converse. Naturally, IYPers who are in flight can also
use this facility to contact a fellow pilot. It's a great way to make new friends... those who share the same passion!
- Are you on the list of our pilots with the most IYP flight time?
The answer to this question can be found by going to the IYP website,
and down on the right hand side, click on the IYP Pilots' Lounge icon.
In the Pilots' Lounge, you'll see a link entitled:
Pilot Flight Time Activity
- Have you ever used the built-in IYP ACARS and PIREP systems?
By clicking here,
you'll see a display of the 50 most recent IFR/VFR flights flown on IYP where the pilot used the built-in IYP ACARS facility. It's
easy to use. When Michelle asks, "Captain, do you wish to start the ACARS logging system at this time?", simply say, "Yes please."
- Would you like to simplify your Simulator's start-up process?
SmartStart can best be described as the IYP equivalent
of everyone’s computer Start Set Up, in which all the required
programs and applications are programmed to load automatically each time the computer is turned on - except in this case,
it's when you start It's Your Plane.
- Have you been thinking about a feature you'd like to see in IYP?
As I've always said, "IYP members design the system... I merely hack the code!" So, if you've
ever said to yourself... "I wish IYP would do this", please tell me by posting your suggestion in the
IYP Forum.
